Pastor Ben was called to preach in 2000 while attending Lupton Drive Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and was ordained to the ministry in that church. He has served at Sara Bay Baptist Church in Bradenton, Florida, and at Griffith Creek Baptist Church in Alderson, West Virginia. He came to be the pastor of First Baptist Church in February of 2008.
Pastor Ben and his wife Lori have four children, whom they homeschool.
He later received Master of Ministry and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Andersonville Theological Seminary, and is currently working toward a Master of Divinity degree with Liberty Theological Seminary.
Jessica Risinger came to be our secretary in January of 2012. She is currently a student at Bethel College and also serves the Lord with her musical skill, which includes harp and piano.

Intern/Assistant Pastor
Pastor Nate grew up in First Baptist Church, then left to teach high school. When God called him into the ministry, he went to Indianapolis Baptist College where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. He and his wife May Tru came back to First Baptist in June of 2011 to serve in a one year internship. They are currently looking for the permanent position that God has for them.
